The Lemon Queen (Helianthus annuus.) is pure royalty. This sunflower variety grows well in most zones from spring through late summer. It boasts buttery pale yellow petals contrast nicely with a wide brown center. Let her be the Queen of your garden and she will bring the bees and hummingbirds.
The Lemon Queen has one large main flower followed by smaller, branching secondary flowers of excellent quality. Each flower has a long stem and holds well in bouquets. Plants bloom for a long period of time.
